As our Lead AI Engineer, you will step into a highly impactful and exciting role, building practical, production-ready AI systems that support the mental health of children and young adolescents. Your tasks:
Design and ship innovative AI systems (RAG, embeddings, vector databases, LLM APIs) with a strong focus on real-world impact
Take ownership of the technical direction and architecture of our fullstack applications
Translate business problems into pragmatic, staged, technical solutions
Own end-to-end delivery: from architecture decisions to production deployment and iteration
Define and drive the technical roadmap, including build vs. buy decisions
Collaborate cross-functionally and align stakeholders through clear, structured communication
Improve team decision-making by sharing context, mentoring others, and raising the technical bar
Ensure privacy, security, and compliance are built into systems by default
